About the Event
In this 1 hour remote learning course, Derek Gill, the founder of Global SI™ will explore the nature of the breath via traditional lecture, movement exploration, and meditative practice.
This is a free course designed to give you a taste of the unique perspective embodied by Derek and the rest of the Global SI faculty. All that we ask is that you RSVP above and agree to receive messages regarding other course offerings. You don't want to miss out on this opportunity!
Upon completing this course, you will gain:
1) A deeper understanding of the anatomical and physiological nature of the breath as well as the psychological and esoteric aspects of the breath,
2) A higher level of Self Awareness about your breath and beyond,
3) The tools necessary to coach your patients on these topics via TeleConsult or in office sessions, and
4) 1 hour of course credit towards the completion of your qualification as a Certified Structural Integration Professional, if you choose to enroll in the full Global SI program down the road.

Derek is currently the only classically trained Osteopath teaching full Structural Integration (SI) certification programs. In addition to his Osteopathic background and numerous continuing education pursuits, he is also a graduate of the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute and has completed all of the Advanced SI certifications that they offer. This class is targeted towards professional, licensed practitioners of manual therapy. However, undergraduate students and anyone with a healthy curiousity will benefit and enjoy this hour of teaching.
Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. One day prior to the class you will receive another e-mail with a Zoom meeting link so that you can access the class.
As the course is experiential and contemplative in nature, it is highly recommended that you arrange to be free of distraction for 1 hour if possible. Wear comfortable clothes and find a comfortable chair, ball, or mat to sit on. See you soon!
